Aliens do Exist?

So I have this great fear of Aliens; and I know what your thinking... I've been watching to many movies... but thats not the case.

I can watch Independance Day, Aliens, Predator, Species, Alone in the dark... all those with out a problem. You turn on ET and I flip a shit. Maybe It is the eyes... Have you seen the end of Indiana Jones 4, that shit fucked with me for months. I also do not like the movie Signs, or the aliens in Scary Movie 3.

Because of this fear I have deemed Aliens unreal and non existant. But that goes againt my idea of if their are so many stories by so many cultures then it must be real. Also, I believe in all things paranormal which apparently includes Aliens, UFO's, and other strange and unexplained phenomena.

So I have started doing a little researching and am trying to open my mind about them. But it is hard, especially with the term alien bothering me.

What do I expect to find? I expect to find more questions then answers, but more so get over whatever stereotype I have in my head, and get past my fear, whatever that may be.

And ideas? opinions from those interested by such?
